We were tasked with transforming a disused local authority ‘One-stop-shop’ into a vibrant and welcoming Living Well Hub, with a rooftop extension featuring an easily managed garden area.
To optimise the internal space, we created new reception and waiting areas, clinical and non-clinical rooms (including group session rooms and assessment / consultation rooms), a café, staff meeting areas, and a new open plan office which incorporated hot-desking spaces.

This innovative flagship project reflects a new direction for health and social care at local and national level by creating a space where partners deliver joined up services from a single site. Warrington and Halton Hospital have a strategic commitment to deliver a range of services out in the community rather than in a traditional acute health setting, and this project is a prime example of this new approach.
