As a long-term partner of Circle Health Group, we have delivered a wide range of projects at their Ross Hall Hospital (Glasgow) and Ross Hall Clinic (Braehead) sites. This included constructing a full new healthcare facility from shell at Braehead. The new clinic building included an eye care treatment centre, operating theatres, reception areas, consulting and treatment rooms, laser theatre, offices, plantroom, and comms rooms. At Ross Hall Hospital, we were responsible for ward, bedroom, and corridor upgrades; an extension to create a new state-of-the-art operating theatre; and extensive external works such as recladding, and window and roof replacements.
Works included floor, wall, and ceiling replacements; installation of partitions, lifts, IPS, and doors, plus all decoration. Many of the projects involved extensive and complex M&E upgrades as well, such as specialist lighting, medical gas, fire safety systems, CCTV, extraction ducts, ventilation, air conditioning, AHU, and installing EV charging stations.

As all works were carried out in a busy and sensitive live environment, extensive planning and early engagement was key. We worked closely with staff and ward managers to schedule works, so they allowed for maximum occupation and usage, with minimal impact on patients, staff, and members of the public. To ensure patient safety, we worked to strict health and safety guidelines and implemented HAI-SCRIBE infection control procedures across all works.
