The Hilton administration team needed a functional, but welcoming, workspace designed to accommodate the demands of their busy roles. Our goal was to create high-quality office space including a business-critical new server room. This two-phase Category B fit-out across three floors (ground, first and second) included deliverables such as user-friendly open-plan office spaces, meeting rooms, and practical staff pantry areas.
As the client’s IT contractor would need to be able to commission, install and test the new IT systems before handover, the new server room was the Phase One priority. This gave them ample time to make sure that everything was ready to go live by the overall handover date. The second phase of the project involved less time sensitive elements of the project such as staff areas and design details.
Works include
Modification to the existing ceilings • Base build M&E installations • New floor finishes • Creation of a range of spaces from server room to staff pantries
The job was completed in a live environment within a busy city centre location, requiring extensive and thorough traffic and logistics planning ahead of starting the job. To ensure the safety of Hilton staff, the general public, and our team, we implemented our own live environment working procedure throughout the duration of the project. The result modernised the space both in aesthetic and function, and was well received by the Hilton team.
