Everyone deserves a safe, warm, secure, and welcoming home. We were tasked with transforming tired tenement flats into modern, practical, and pleasing homes. This involved a full strip out and upgrade, including installing new kitchens, flooring, doors, decoration, and M&E works internally, as well as roof and external building fabric works, and upgrades to common close areas.

We carried out structural alterations to create practical new kitchen and bathroom spaces (including installation of new worktops and sanitary fittings). Due to the age of the buildings, key works such as repairing and replacing defective floors, and wall and ceiling finishes, including installing a new suspended ceiling system were required. Extensive M&E work was also necessary in every flat, including connections and alterations to gas and electricity supplies. To ensure that each property was ‘move-in’ ready, full internal decoration was completed throughout.

The project was not limited to internal work, roof and chimney repairs, with extensive lead renewal work and stonework were required to ensure the buildings were safe and weatherproof. In addition to close repairs (including plastering, painting, and window replacement), we also replaced slabs, metal railings, and gates. As with all social housing projects, delivering the best possible value was paramount.
