Seven new homes
The Woodthorpe Grove project involved the creation of seven new homes in and around the site of the former residence of the Bishop of Wakefield. Inside the historic building, we created three modern homes within the original 1885 building, reimagining the space and working sympathetically with the historic façade. Alongside the homes within the existing building, we designed and created an additional four properties within the grounds, combining the best of modern living with striking yet thoughtful design.
Each home is energy efficient and designed to meet the needs and expectations of today’s homeowner, including modern fixtures, fittings, and appliances.

Woodthorpe Grove draws on the wide range of experience across the Morris & Spottiswood Group, from traditional construction skills to state-of-the-art M&E to the building materials themselves being sourced and supplied from our own builders’ merchant business (Builders Station).
