Since 2017 we have been delivering services to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) via their Minor Works, Lifecyle Project, and Capital Works Framework. We have successfully worked across the full estate, including offices, Job Centre Plus facilities, and service and contact centres. The strength and effectiveness of our ongoing relationship with DWP is reflected in the fact that our appointment has now been renewed twice.
The Framework covers a broad range of projects spanning the spectrum from low value alterations, essential asset maintenance and minor refresh works to higher value full refurbishment and fit-out projects and asset replacements works. These include fabric and M&E service upgrade programmes which are part of the DWP Estates Decarbonisation programme. Due to the scale and scope of working with DWP, we work closely with ISS and Mitie, two of the DWP’s incumbent maintenance teams, to successfully deliver these projects.
Works include
M&E • Refurbishments & Refresh • Refits • Asset Replacement • Asset Maintenance
Many of these works are delivered in live spaces, so the safety of staff and members of the public are key considerations. Due to the nature of the work of the DWP, it’s essential that they can operate as normal, so we factor minimising disruptions and non-traditional working hours into our project planning and phasing. Plus, to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and everyone is up-to-date, daily communications with the DWP Estates and Building Management Team is always part of our process.
